Photos of Victoria Beckham wearing these funky heelless boots have been circulating among fashion blogs all this week, so I thought it only fitting to feature her heelless platform boots as this week’s Fearless Friday shoe. Victoria is lucky enough to have David Beckham to lean on whenever she feels unsteady in these crowd wowers.
While they may look incredibly uncomfortable and awkward, Hadley Freeman of The Guardian had the opportunity to try on a similar shoe a year ago, and says that they really aren’t hard to walk in. The platforms are weighted under the toe, forcing your weight forward and downwards so you can’t tip backwards. In fact, they almost sound more comfortable than regular heels!
I personally don’t like them one bit – I think they make her look a little alien-like and they make her feet look huge compared to her tiny body. What do you think?
