Today was a great day because I received two things I’ve been really looking forward to in the mail.
First of all, let me introduce you to @BlackPearlCreat – she’s the mastermind behind this beautiful black and white wool sweater. The owner of Black Pearl Creations, @BlackPearlCreat was kind enough to send me a custom sweater to review.
Here I am modeling it! The sweater fastens with two plastic fasteners that are woven to connect the two sides. This fastening technique is neat because you can adjust how tight or loose you want the sweater to fit around the middle.
I instantly noticed the careful craftsmanship that went into every detail and every fiber. I tried it on, and it fit perfectly, and it was so warm! It is difficult at first to figure out how to fasten it, but it’s easier if you can get a helping hand to hold the two sides together while you fasten it. Overall, I love it and I highly recommend wrapping yourself in a warm crochet creation like this to stay warm this winter. In this picture I’m wearing the sweater with some sheer black leggings and my new boots (see below!). Excuse my hair – I’d just gotten out of the shower.

The second pick-me-up I received today was this pair of black Naughty Monkey Women’s D-Ring Boots, courtesy of Endless.com! I just love them because 1) they’re suede, 2) they’re slouchy and 3) they’re Naughty Monkey!!! The small heel is a wedge, so you can wear these all day and still feel comfortable. I think they have just the right amount of sass and class with the ring detail, wedge heel and partial zipper. Another nice detail is the inside of the boot – it’s lined in a pretty green, floral printed satin-like material. I plan on wearing these with countless colors of leggings! Thank you, Endless!
