Pet Peeves When it Comes to Shoe Shopping

Today I asked my Twitter friends to answer one question:

What is your #1 pet peeve when it comes to shoe shopping?

They were all great answers, and I think any retail store could benefit from taking these pet peeves into consideration.  @JetSetGirls‘s answer stood out to me the most: “I always like to test drive my shoes on carpet & hard wood floors.  Bugs me when stores don’t have both!”  How true.  We need to walk on carpet to make sure the shoes aren’t wobbly or off-center, and walking on hard wood floors reveals whether a pair of shoes offers enough traction.  Take a look at what others had to say, and add your pet peeves below in a comment:
