Shari Gray Unveils Shree Moni “Spring in Paris” Shoe Collection

On Wednesday night at Whiskey Blue, young entrepreneur Shari Gray unveiled her latest Shree Moni shoe collection titled “Spring in Paris.” Gray, who is only 26 years old, is quickly rising as one of the hottest designers in Atlanta.  Her collection features shoes inspired by Paris with names like The Louvre, Versailles and the Mona Lisa.  I love how she used bold colors, including purple, mustard, black, and copper.  Funky gladiator straps and embellishments lend the line a trendy touch.  The fabulous boots, heels, and espadrille platforms look equally stunning with a pair of jeans as they do with a mini dress.

Shree Moni shoes are already gaining a celebrity following, especially among popular R&B singers and well known sophisticates.  En Vogue recently wore the shoes on The View, Keri Hilson is a fan, and Judge Hatchett is a loyal Shree Moni wearer.

Gray created the line of shoes in 2007, and the collection has become a boutique specialty brand.  Gray decided to host her first launch party in 2009 because she feels her product is finally where it needs to be in regards to craftsmanship and marketing.  Shree Moni shoes are moderately priced ($170-$300), and can be purchased locally at the ultra-exclusive boutiques Seven Over Escape and Vain Couture or online at www.shreemoni.com.

What do you think of this collection?
