“Stand Two” by Mark Schwartz – 15x 20 inches
I’ve been a fan of Mark Schwartz and his shoe paintings for some time. Take a look at one of his newer watercolor works above. It’s one-of-a-kind, and available for purchase at High Heeled Art. I love how the shoes seem to be dancing off the page, and check out those sky-high heels on the ballet shoes! These are (obviously) not designed for walking, or standing for that matter, unless you are a professional ballerina. But they’re beautiful nonetheless, and an absolute dream for shoe fetishists. Mark’s painting reminded me of Lady Gaga wearing Alexander McQueen 10-inch stilettos in her music video “Bad Romance”. Gotta give Gaga credit – dancing in them can’t be easy!
