Shoe Review: Bearpaw ‘Kaska’ Wedge Boots

December 10th, 2009

BEARPAW Women’s Kaska Boot
, $89.95

Baby it’s cold outside, but I know Bearpaw’s Kaska boot will keep me warm and cozy no matter where I go. Suede and rabbit fur combine forces to wrap my feet in stylish comfort. A 2 3/4″ wedge heel keeps the look chic, while a full side zipper assures no dressing hassles.  The fur inside and out is unbelievably soft…in fact, I found myself petting the fur trim for a few seconds when I first opened the box.  These boots are built for calves large and small!  You can unzip them to slip them on, and then cinch them as much as you need with the lacing.  If they feel a little snug at first, give them a few days and wear thick socks to stretch out the suede.  Then they should fit perfectly!  I wore these beauties all day, and they kept my feet comfortably warm the entire time.

It’s no secret that, since Bearpaw Shoes first contacted me asking for my opinion, I’ve been in love with their boots.  But the Kaska boot has barged its way to the top of my Favorite Winter Boots list, and I’m not mad.  They even seem to make my feet look smaller…a GREAT feat for fur boots!
