It can be difficult to commit to a pair of winter boots. There are just so many factors to consider. Do you crave the long lean lines of a sleek and sexy knee-high boot? Or would you rather capture the cute and sassy silhouette of an adorable ankle boot? Do you want your boots to be free of embellishments so they can blend seamlessly in with any look? Or do you like adornments on your footwear so your shoes can be the star of the show?

If you have ever found yourself facing a winter boot dilemma, a solution is in sight. This year you can cast your commitment-phobia aside and slip on a pair of fold-over boots.
Celebrities Katherine Hiegl, Miley Cyrus, and Mary-Kate Olsen have a lot in common. They are all paparazzi favorites who are known for making bold and risky fashion statements. They have also all been photographed in fold-over boots. This versatile choice may seem, at first glance, to be too safe for these contemporary style icons. But fold-over boots can be styled a number of different ways, making them a savvy statement for the fashion maven who likes to put her own stamp on a sizzling trend.

The Miz Mooz Magnolia Boot perfectly encapsulates all the best aspects of this highly adaptable trend. When worn zipped to the knees, this sleek boot provides the perfect lines to complement a slinky dress layered under a high-fashion structured trench coat. It transitions beautifully from day to night, and maintains its chic appeal no matter what time you slip it on. When folded down and worn as an ankle boot, the Magnolia displays a brashly saucy style that is impudently sexy. The luxuriously soft fur-lining will help you feel comfy and cozy no matter which style you choose to sport. The most challenging decision you’ll have to make (besides whether you’ll want to wear them up or down first) is if you should order them in the more casual khaki shade, or in a richly deep brown tone.

You shouldn’t have to make sacrifices when it comes to selecting a great winter shoe, and with fold-over boots being on trend, you definitely won’t have to this year. Just this one boot can be worn at various heights and with a plethora of styles. Whether your look is kicky and cute or stylish and sexy, the fold-over boot should be your go to winter boot. You’ll embody comfort and style no matter how you fold it.

I really love boots for fall and winter, but I’m not too sure about the fold-over boot with the fur lining showing…That’s just me, though.

I understand what you mean. I think a fold-over boot looks best with leggings, instead of jeans. The style makes legs look skinny (which is nice) but tends to make calves look bulky if the fold hits at the wrong place. The fur isn’t for every taste, I myself prefer a little showing.
