Trend Alert: Wedge Ankle Boots
One of the must-have footwear styles for fall is the wedge ankle boot, which is great news for us all! These boots leave calves blissfully unbound and provide the slendering effects of high heels. Wedge ankle boots can be worn day or night, with trousers and skirts, not to mention they are much easier to walk in than stilettos. Grab a pair in a fun print and you can really add some attitude to your outfit!
Palos Verdes Footwear sent me this pair of Volatile ‘Bombay’ wedge boots for review and they are just perfect for the season. The Bombay boots are available in both black and leopard-print horse hair, but of course I chose to follow my wild side! Now I can flaunt two of fall’s hottest trends at once – leopard and the wedge silhouette.
How To Style Leopard Wedge Ankle Boots
Because these leopard boots are neutral in color you can wear them with any colors in your wardrobe. I chose to keep it simple, pairing my Volatile Bombay boots with black leggings, a beige pleated skirt and a grey short-sleeved sweater for a go-anywhere fall look. Add a black leather bomber for the wind chill (when I took this photo it was freakishly warm outside for an October day).

The horse hair leather upper on the Bombay adds a luxe air to these ankle boots. In terms of comfort and quality, I couldn’t ask for more from a wedge ankle boot. The pull-on style has elastic goring so they are easy to put on and take off. Also, there is padding on the footbed so you can wear these with ease all day (or night).
