File this one away in creative and beautiful shoe art!  In a small town near Venice called Fiesso d’Artico, a giant shoe sculpture by Joana Vasconcelos graces the center cloister of Louis Vuitton’s factory. Vasconcelos is known for taking everyday objects and transforming them into life-size replicas of high-heel sandals. This fifteen-foot-tall shoe Shoe sculpture is constructed out of dozens of stainless steel pots, pans, and lids of varying sizes.

In 2014 the Louis Vuitton art foundation will open in Paris to showcase this and other artworks commissioned by the house.
