I wish I could say this is a photo of my tanned foot dressed in this stunning Georgina Goodman shoe…but alas, I took this image from DulceShoes.net, where you can buy these babies for $800. With a 5.5 inch heel and 1 inch platform, Georgina Goodman Nelson pumps will ensure you are seen and envied. Shoutout to my girl @uniquebreeze for bringing them to my attention on ShoeHunting!
From Christopher Kane‘s Fall/Winter 2010 collection, this boot is the perfect mix of sexy and sweet. Beautiful embroidered flowers and vines climb up the heel and sides of the cutout boot, and contrast sharply against the black leather. The Scottish designer cited juvenile delinquents as the influence for his latest creations, and his goal was to use flowers in an unconventional way to convey irony. I just love it! But with a price tag of $1,428 at luisaviaroma.com you’d have to be fearless to buy them.

The photos and critiques of Lady Gaga’s choice of footwear are all over the Internet, but there’s no question about it – these hoof-like shoes she wore to her sister’s graduation are truly FEARLESS. I admire her for her bold, in-your-face attitude, and while she apparently had no trouble walking in these monstrosities, those shoes are just asking for an accident. I mean, what if anything is appealing about these heelless shoes? And I think it’s pretty inappropriate to wear something like this to your sister’s graduation, no matter who you are:

I spotted these fearless shoes a few weeks ago when I was visiting Tip Top Shoes for a book launch party (book review coming soon). Aren’t they amazing?! I believe this shoenista said they were crafted by my beloved Giuseppe Zanotti. What do you think of them? I’d say they are definitely conversation-worthy! Leave your thoughts below.
