Well, I finally did it – I bought the two shoe styles I’ve been wanting for some time – silver flats and black peep-toe booties.  I’m going to have to adjust my budget for a while to compensate, but the purchase was totally worth it.

I couldn’t wait to try out the Marciano ‘Tana’ booties, so I wore them to work today.  All I can say is, wow.  They look amazing, and (believe me or not) they are the most comfortable heeled shoe I own!  The 4 1/2″ stiletto heel, coupled with the zipper detail and peep-toe gives this shoe an elegant, rocker-chic look.  You can buy a pair for $286 at Zappos.com.

I haven’t worn the Corso Como ‘Posy’ silver flats yet, but they look beautiful and I love the hardware on the vamp.  (how do you like that?  I’m exercising our Word of the Week!)  I want to wear these with skinny jeans and when I wear a tunic and leggings.  I got them for $159 at Zappos.com.
